Hi all,

Ive done a bit of searching, but to no luck

For you tall rides, can you recommend any longer shorts that come reasonably close to the knee? Im 6'4 and am yet to find a reasonably priced short that arent like hot pants on me! I know Rapha do a 'longer leg' short but they arent quite within my price range

Any ideas would be most welcome

Cheers

i always found the Pearl Izume P.R.O. lineup to be relatively long. I'm 6'4, and never had an issue with my legs rubbing to top-tube of my bike, like I do with my current batch of Castelli's.

Something like Gore, or Endura. British sizing as opposed to the shorter Euro style fitting.

The top of the line Pearl shorts are a little longer as well as some of the cappo aren't too bad either.

Best of luck.

I've got the long-leg Mille short. Cheap new-old-stuff Nalini shorts from Prendas also have long legs.

Get the Rapha when they go on sale. They usually have two big sales a year. Then compare them to whatever you've got. Like the Raphas, buy more.

Thanks for the helpful posts guys. I did like the Rapha, but the price is rather unappealing. Any ideas when the sales are? This may be a plan....

Cheers

Rapha has 15% all the Team Sky stuff if anyone is interested. The discount ends July 28th.

The Rapha code works for everything, not just Sky kit! SALUTE15.

I have just got a new kit from ragpicker.cc, a new London company. The bibs are nice and long and only £85, matching jersey is £60, very high quality. I will have to get the sleeves altered as they are a bit flappy on my chicken arms, not a big issue to me though.

I'm 6'2". Giordana FormaRed Carbon XL come down to close to my knees. And they're exceptionally comfortable.
