proper natural honey and bananas.

Peanut butter or nutella is really good if you have no clue about cycling, like let's say, fro example, an american rider with long black socks and rapha apparel. True riders will always move on from that crap.
Happy Trails !!!

100% peanut butter on one side on a sandwich, and Nutella on the other. You've got yourself a snickers flavored sandwich!
Or if you're a health nut, substitute the Nutella for some homemade jam.

Jam is 70-80% sugar, how's better than Nutella? I am genuinely asking.

There's unnatural honey?

Nothing wrong with peanut butter. In moderation.

For me it is peanut butter and honey combined either on toast or a split fruit muffin, followed by a Nutella one and a good strong long black to wash it down.

I used to eat vegemite and mashed banana sandwiches for that sweet and sour taste too, but people look at you funny when eating that one!

A fair question. While jam has all the sugar of Nutella, what it lacks is senseless fat. Add to that that jam producers generally do not promote their products as the perfect food for a child. If you need a chocolate hit melt some high quality 70% cocoa dark chocolate on some bread and mix with your choice of nut butter - you'll be miles ahead of Nutella in all departments.

Sugar per se isn't as bad as some make it seem. It's just carbs :noidea:
If you're generally healthy, you can handle lots of sugar every once in a while without any ill effects. Just don't do it all the time. Also with jam, there's no "hidden" sugar (or fat, or salt). You know it got lots of it, and enjoy it, and don't overdo it.

Congratulations. I would genuinely not believed it possible to make a racist, sweeping derogatory generalization about condiments. You must be so proud.

How about a nice cold smoothie!? I buy ready made wild berry mixes with banana, combine it with some rice milk, add some small amount of honey to give it some sweetness and toss it in the blender! 1 liter of that and I almost dont need to eat anything more.

But have to say Im a big big fan of organic peanut butter (meaning no additives, just 100% peanuts) and organic honey on some integral spelt or oat toast! Unbeatable!

Edit: I would prefer almond or other nut butter but they cost and arm and a leg here in Oslo! Perhaps I'll go back to that once I move back to the UK

Since we're in Norway for the time being:

My go to post ride drink before the shower. An nice large glass of (barely) vitamin D enriched semi skimmed milk with 2-3 spoons of O'boy chocolate powder stirred into it.

And gimme those waffles with strawberry jam, sour cream, and that brown goat milk cheese, sliced by one of these:
