hi, Its very expensive to buy a stem from canyon as the shipping fee are so high(nearly same as the stem)
Anyways, does Syncros have -17/-12 stem for canyon ?thx
The best Quality bike i had - colnago - c40, c50 , time -vxrs , bianchi, Look - 381, 585Ultra. giant- Adv SL isp

Think Giant do some oversize ones and even Specialized for one of their MTBs but not sure on sizes or angles available
Dont want to use giant, looks ugly.
I found some Specialized stem at ebxy have 1 1/4. Asking for detail ,hope it works. Thx

I think this is the complete list of stems for 1 1/4" steerers
Syntace F119 4 deg
Giant Contact SL OD2 8 deg
Giant Connect SL OD2 8 deg
FSA K-Force Light Carbon 6 deg (£280 ish!)
FSA OS120 6 deg
Ritchey WCS 6 deg or 17 deg
Specialized adj stems with shim I don't think are 1 1/4"
I ordered -17 Ritchey stem with my Canyon frame, there was no other choice.

Just search about 1 1/4 stem
looks like specxxxx stem without the shim will work on 1 1/4 fork. I will try to confirm more about it. thx

I'm 99.9% sure it's larger than 1 1/4" with the shim removed.
Just found out the Giant stems also come in -20 deg, I don't think they look too bad with the logo's removed,
although at -20 deg the stem would be pointing down, -17 deg is just about level.

Read page 2 of that topic about 1/2 way down, someone tried a Specialized pro set- not 1 1/4", sorry

Anchors though.

Canyon used to stipulate "their" stems only...
Meaning:
syntace
fsa
ritchey
I presume it was down to the way there's no anti-compression plug fitted in the fork

I went for the Syntace F119, I think it looks much better than the Ritchey one they offer with the Ultimate AL.
