Yes the voice of British track cycling has been "let go" by Auntie to make room for new blood
His mysterious exclusion from the world track championships in Minsk has now been confirmed as
a sacking :noidea:
He now is supposed to be covering "ice Skating" in the winter olympics

Liggett, Duffield and Porter... not a clue amongst them

Ice skating?? I guess he has as much idea about that as he did road racing...

Nooooooooooooooo

Even more clueless than Duffield.

Am sick of his bizarre scanarios and blatant plugs for personal sponsors.

Porter was past his best but still far better than Harmon who is and will always be a tool.

As for sidekicks.

Backstedt good.
Kelly bit repetitive and dour.

Enjoyed David miller at the worlds last year.

Yes, but some of us 'yanks' find him somewhat humorous, not specifically for his commentary per say but for the fact that we simply cant understanding what the heck is saying half the time.

Good. Hugh Porter was beyond awful. I don't mind Harmon, he and Kelly make a great double act.

I totally agree, dreadful commentator. I cringed during the road races at the Olympics last year, and I totally agree about Harmon and Kelly, very good commentators both of them.

Now if we could just get rid of Laurel and Hardy, ie Liggett and his idiot mate Sherwin, job done!

I don't see why you would have to be a elite class athlete to commentate on the same sport. You just need knowledge of the sport and be able to commentate.
