Hi All,

I am in need of some help from the greatest cycling resource in the world. I am taking part in the Cape Argus ride this year and i need a bit of advice on my bike setup from someone who has done the ride before.
I am wrestling with the issue of wheel selection for the ride. I have a set Corima Clinchers (47mm) and i have a set of Mavic R-Sys SLR (front 22 mm rear 25 mm) and each set has me going back and forth on what should be on my bike (Colnago M10, SR Group). My head is saying the Mavics but my heart is saying Corima.

Corima
+ More aero
+ I am noticeably quicker with them compared to the Mavics on
- Weight! A lot heavier
- If its windy in Cape Town i will be pushing sh1t (quite literally) uphill with these on.

Mavic
+ Weight! Nice and light
+ Great for hills
- Not as aero as the Corima's

Any help/advice with what would i should go would be much appreciated.

The Corimas will be fine for most days of the Argus, BUT...
If you have a windy one, 2009(?) you'll dread them. A windy day in the Cape has blown people off bikes.

Dn't sweat the weight thing, only 2 notable inclines and they are neither too steep nor too long...
