I don't care if he doped or not but if he goes on Piers Morgans show I will lose all respect for him

Oprah? Well we won’t get any difficult questions then, Armstrong will no doubt spend the entire time talking about surviving cancer. Get him on the Daily Show and let Jon Stewart ask the questions we really need him to answer.

Or send him over here and let Jeremy Paxman give him a grilling

You sure? I was sure Oprah was known for her hard hitting journalism and breaking big stories...

Any predictions? I think there will be some heartfelt connection to any wrong doing and wiping away of tears. And not a lot of questions.

I can see on Oprah' homepage, this interview will be "no-holds-barred". Being a bit confused about the actual meaning of this, I looked it up and it supposedly means: Without restrictions or rules.

I can understand why he would go for that kind of interview, as he obviously has problems with interviews that is conducted under rules and where you are restricted to tell the truth....

This is from Twitter account "Drum Stig"; I think it might be close to what will happen:

"ME ME ME SINGLE MOM ME ME ME ME ME CANCER ME ME TOUR ME ME ME MIRACLE ME ME ME ME ME UCI ME ME ME ME ME INNOCENT ME ME GUILTY ME ME ME VICTIM ME ME ME VICTIM ME ME ME ME KIDS ME ME (tears) ME ME ME FAMILY ME ME ME ME POLITICS ME ME ME ME ME PRESIDENT? MAYBE ME ME ME ME THANK YOU, (Saint) OPRAH AND THANK YOU AMERICA ".
Lances exits. A little "kaching" can be heard in the background. Break to an Ad for a new autobiography and possible hollywood biopic starring Matthew McConaughey.

Been advised to go on Oprah. Everyone confesses to the big O.
Oprah is more powerful than the Pope.

Armstrong is going on Oprah because Johan Bruyneel is coming out with a book and he wants to beat him to the punch, wants the world to know that big, bad, mean Johan made him dope.

You seem to have some kind of inside info. You are one step ahead of us all  . Can you tell us what size engine Lance used on his bike ? Was it the same one FC used? As you know I love Lance so much and If he does confess my whole world will come to a standstill  Would it be possible for you wise sage, to help me get over the deep trauma of a cyclist doping.

Not that my opinion matters; but I have to agree with Stella on this one.

IMO, the difference between Oprah and a show like "Hard Talk" is respect (the latter host just seems rude). People tell some surprising stuff to Oprah.

From a legal standpoint, however, I don't think it's wise for Lance to tell her much without some legal arrangement with prosecutors first.
