There are plenty out there so what are some of your favourites?

Mine are:

The Secret Race - Tayler Hamilton - pretty damning but gripping as - worth multiple reads
The Death Of Marco Pantani - quite in depth and detailed
Breaking the Chain - Willy Voet - another damning expose
French Revolutions - Tim Moore - I love his writing style

I haven't found an Indurain book yet in English though

Indurain has regained his record for most consecutive TdF victories ... or did he ever really lose it?

I've read Rough Ride but to be honest I didn't think much of it, but I understand the significance of it within cycling today.

i want to read all of the others on your list though

Road Racing Training and Technique by Bernard Hinault - possibly the best book of its type ever written

Le Metier by Michael Barry - i like how the season of a professional cyclist is portrayed through good writing.

Boy Racer - Explains the thought behind many of Cavendish' decisions and like Cavendish himself it is very honest and direct.

Has anyone read Bob Rolls books? His first one is only available 2nd hand and is really expensive.

Bike Snob
Racing Through the Dark - David Millar
Boy Racer - Mark Cavendish

I just finished The Secret Race and while I appreciate the detail, overall I can't say I really care for the book. The book was more about Lance than about Tyler and it was difficult to detect much remorse - it seemed more about vindication. Compare to Millar's book which was truly a pleasure to read...

I've got the first Bobke book by Bob Roll. It's pretty entertaining, especially if you like him, but I don't think I'd pay big money for it. I didn't know it was out of print and worth something, it's been living in my bathroom book bin.
