Kimmage strikes back

In his statement in response to the defense fund, Kimmage promised to repay the show of support with renewed efforts to clean up professional cycling. Today, he struck back with a criminal complaint against Verbruggen and McQuaid in Swiss criminal court:

Whether this is the best tactic, I don't know. But as velo news says:

The move marks a turning of the tables . . . now, it’s the journalist on the attack, emboldened by a seething public and a defense fund that raised more than $85,835 in his name to combat the cycling union’s legal attack.

I still want to know who controls the funds and some sort of accountability of where those funds are spent.

I dunno, but clearly Kimmage is putting them to good use. As the old saying goes: "The proof of the pudding is in the eating."
