What is he riding? Did he splurge on a spendy bike? Looks like a fair sized saddle to bar drop. Also looks like low-profile rims.

from the photo, it looks like the saddle has no nose.
it's super record, probably eps due to the wire hanging off the rear brake housing. it has an srm. i'd lean to pinarello based on the top tube curve and the seatpost graphics.

-actually just clicked on the cyclelicious link-at some point he ditched di2 and went for campy eps (or the other way around).

--actually (again,) i just now bothered to READ the cyclelicious article- explains everything!

He looks as though the bike's ben good for weight control. He looks much slimmer now.

Pretty cool how he has taken cycling in such a big way. I loved his following comment:

Quote:
I like to be on the edge and cycling put me in the hospital a couple times and on the edge, and I like it

Its a little sick but I feel somewhat the same. I dont like crashing (I did last week) but there is a strange pleasure in knowing danger is around the corner. I have plenty of battle scars and Im actually proud of them. My girlfriend cant understand it :)

That's definitely an SRM on his bike.

If that's how he looked for his pro ball career and he hit a total of 29 career home runs, we wouldn't be talking about him now.

Paint looks like BMC.
Also the seat-stays hit the seat-tube rather low... like on a BMC.
