We don't have Mt Washington in London, so Swains Lane in Highgate is about all we can muster for an uphill race. But a full on sprint for 2 mins certainly hurts.

I've been given a start time in the seeded pool (help!). I'm not sure my 76kg is going to like going up the steep bit like some of the racing whippets, and maybe the sleep deprivation and lack of training from having a newborn baby is the best prep, but I'll give it some stick anyway. :)

Come and jeer at me. I'm off at 20:39.

Good luck.

Last time I was in London closest I seen to a hill was a disabled access ramp into a building.
