Has anyone managed to repair a broken usb-cable for the SRM PC VI?

My the connector pin break off from the cable and now I would be interested on which colored wire connects to which connector. If someone could be able to provide instructions shouldering the cable into working condition I would be very happy.

I don't own an SRM, but I may be able to help if you make some pictures of all the connections and wires? Do you have a multimeter?

Yep, the cable is rather expensive and I've also ordered one from http://www.scientific-coaching.com/. It will be shipped around Wednesday next week which means that it would take time to arrive to Finland. I'm racing next weekend and would really want to use the PC VI if I could just repair the cable. This is because it is seems that the SRM doesn't cooperate very well with my triathlon watch, the Timex Global Trainer.

The cable is currently at my dad's place because he's capable of soldering the cable back together. Ergo I cannot tell the specific colors of the wires inside the cable.

might be worth posting on slowtwitch as well as here and ask something like...



someone on slowtwitch did post pc v cable diagram, maybe you'll get lucky

if you can't find out, then once you get the new cable you could get your dad to measure it and then post the info so at least it is available next time
