I love Giro helmets, but I noticed this helmet was used very little in the Tour and with no success. I know Garmin and Rabobank riders wore it in a couple stages in the first week, but it disappeared after that and wasn't seen again during any of the few remaining sprint stages. Millar won from a breakaway in a more traditional helmet.... the same with Van de Velde when he came second.
