So,
I've ran into a bit of a problem with Specialized. I ended up cracking two Tarmac SL3 frames this last season without even racing them. They decided to split at the top tube while just riding along. Last year I had a tarmac sl2 that cracked down the head tube. Specialized did a good job of replacing the frames, but I dont want to have to keep going through this. Needless to say, I wont be building up the new tarmac frame that they give me as a replacement. I will just sell it and use the cash for a new frame.

I am going to Belgium next week and will be living there for the next year. I will need to race my cyclocross bike w/ road wheels until I pick up a proper road bike. I want to get an alloy frame, something that will last. I will be racing lots of Kermis's and want a pretty agressive position. If you were in Belgium what kind of bike would you buy?

Cannondale CAAD10 or Canyon Ultimate AL.

Ive tried to look for a Cannondale dealer in Beglim, but cant seem to find one. The canyon looks really nice though. I have actually been considering ordering one.

If you are based in Europe I would seriously consider a Canyon AL frame. Nice, and if you have a racing license you even get a discount!

Do you know what tie "CW 20" means for shipping? I cant seem to figure that out. Does anyone have any experiance ordering from Canyon? How long does it usually take to be shipped out of Germany to another EU Country? I know it says 8 days, but I am hoping for less!

DONE! just pulled the trigger. Hopefully it gets there quick enough. I emailed their customer service and asked for expidited shipping. I will let you guys know how it goes.

I ordered the 9.0 w/ full ultegra group and ksyrium wheelset.

I will be in Oudenaarde for the first two weeks, just doing Kermis racing and training then moving to Brussels and staying there until next year. Are you in Belgium?

Get the AL frameset and we'll build the bike Monday...

I think you picked a great bike, i'm racing my second Ultimate CF in a row for 2 years now and so far no probs!

I'm living in Ternat, between Brussels and Gent, I'd love to see your bike in person... By the way, i think the CW20 means that it will be delivered in week 20, that's in about 2 weeks, no?

I changed the order from the Ultimate AL to the Ultimate CF 54. The geometry will fit me better, and it is able to ship "immediately". Hopefully it can get there by the end of next week.

We will have to ride together!
