I want to buy a pair of extra warm Assos bib shorts. I need some advice.
Shall I buy the T.607 warm bib shorts with Assos S7 knee warmers or shall I go for the TK.607 bib knickers (3/4 pants).
A 3/4 pant sits better and more comfy. A warm bib short with knee warmers is more flexibel.
:noidea:

I've got the 607 knickers, and at this time of year in Ontario, they are my "go to" garment. Very comfortable, and in typical Assos fashion, control temps perfectly, so as the day warms up, they do not overheat. I think the shorts are too similar to regular shorts with knee warmers, and as you said, are less comfortable than these. Go with the knickers.

I agree the knickers are the way to go. I have a pair of the 607, and they are one of the most versatile clothing items I've come across. I don't personally care for knee warmers because of the tendency for my shorts to ride up, so I find my knickers see quite a bit of use.

Can't go wrong with either IMO. The 607 bibs are so versatile, obviously you can wear them with knee or leg warmers. But the 607 knickers are great because they are a one-piece garment, so there is no irritation from the knee warmer cuffs on the upper thigh. I have them both, plus the 607 S5 tights - all superb.
