That's not bad at all considering the built-in capabilities and features.

It could be the first Trek I've ever been interested in adding to a wish list, and that's a damn exclusive list. :shock:

Nice frame, I like the gear cable entry.

As for the vids, it's too bad Fabian is yet to win a road WC title.

Is Fab riding a special "pro" geometry - (H1 in trek speak) whilst the ones on the website look like they have a much taller head tube (H3 geo - 17.5cm for a 56)? I love the new frame but I don't want the "Fred" version!

It looks like the Domane has a fit somewhere between h2 and h3.

They took the name Madone and switched the letters around to produce Domane.

A number of other prominent brands have their own classics/comfort bikes. Now Trek decided to do one of their own.

Trek always seem to have their own ideas on a number of design/practical features. These ideas more often than not always go against the grain. The Isospeed feature is just seems terrible. Wonder how long it would hold in practice. The gap in the stay junction I would think would have been enough to produce the necessary flex.
The seatstays are bent the other way.

Trek says that the system is designed the last the life of the bike with no maintenance needed.

There's a 75 m section of cobbles in my town centre, which I usually avoid, and rutments everywhere else, hmmm, I wonder in Sparty uses ceramic bearings at the junction.

the junction looks like a bearing but isnt. it's some elastomer in a cylinder. i liken it to a car engine mount.

EDIT- found the article on bikeradar that quotes it as a bearing. :oops:

Just to say this was reviewed in this month's Tour.

The 56cm frame weighed in at 1140' the fork 382g

It was deemed very comfortable but neither the bb nor fork were anything like as stiff as something like a Madone. More like a decent titanium bike with Reynolds fork - similar weight too give or take.
