The looks will grow on you a bit but the ride, well, is amazing.
also, what ever happened to Casran anyway?

look at this picture and imagine it with Zipps 303 or even 202, or nice Mavic Cosmic carbon ultimate, or some medium profile Hed or Enve

the lightweights are too much

Part of it is a scale issue, that bike is tiny. So anything with a "medium" depth or deeper looks off.

You may not want them for a lot of reasons but I cannot believe you do not like them (their looks that is).

Actually I don't like the looks of them, that's the main point I have against them.
Especially with the Lightweight logo

I don't like the 4XLightweight logo either. It has a habit of dominating the overall appearance of a build. Even more than say Boras for some reason. I like the new Meilenstein 1XLightweight logo which I think is more subtle despite its bigger script.

Otherwise the hubes, spokes, and rim shape are great looking.

The second BMC rider I see on Lightweight wheels.. Could it be their new sponsor?

no, LW has never sponsored a team.

If I were a pro I'd buy some rad wheels to use in my off time- they probably do the same.

Your argument is invalid.

Lightweight Gbmh has Sponsored Team Milram in the past.
