New front fork in the Specialized TT bike?
Yes... I called this out back at Vuelta Algarve. It's a new fork to maximize the aero based on the relaxing of the 3:1 rule. I also noticed that the Quickstep guys were using disc wheels branded with "Roval". There's been a rumor of a Roval disc wheel coming ever since last year's TDF (I think that's when it was first spotted). It seems they are getting closer to production models.

I hope not until he retires... He makes the best show in cycling. Kwiato might be much more serious, might be a better rider even, but I prefer the best show.
I was on the trainer doing active recovery and watching the Tirreno stage where Gaviria crashed. It was amazing. Will he make it? Probably... No way... Maybe... And there he was! I caught myself sprinting on the trainer too.

Also press conferences are part of the show.

Wonder what HED and/or Zipp will have to say about that since both have produced toroidal disc wheels in the past?
Michael - The Anaerobic Threshold is neither...

well, There was news about 1.5-2 years ago that Specialized bought (i'm not sure if that's the right term) a bunch of patents from HED. I'd imagine they have something to do with this wheels and also the development of their current 30-50-64mm wheels.

Poignant observation there. Sagan vs. (insert arch-rival here) is very, very good for the business of Pro Cycling.
So is it not possible that certain interested parties have no problem with more "pre-fight banter", much like the pro boxing model?
After all, we're a little short on sponsors these days. You may not like it, but that's where this is all headed. A new PR media campaign for Pro Cycling, courtesy of that front group commonly known as the UCI.

his showmanship on the bike is completely separate from his attitude off the bike..

It must be frustrating that he can't win every race! :-)

Still, he's got the rainbow strips which are like a big target on his back. Getting a handful of wins even if he has ten 2nd places is still a great year for a pro rider. He's got nothing to complain about. If he snags a monument and the green jersey it will have been a fantastic year for him.

The UCI couldn’t organise a PR media campaign if their life depended on it! If anyone’s to blame it’s the bike manufacturers
