Just had a di2 R8050 fitted to my caad 12 In lbs . One problem though is the rattle in the top tube.has anyone had a similar issue or can explain probable cause .
The only cable going though your top tube would be the rear brake cable...have you checked that?Devotional wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 9:52 pmJust had a di2 R8050 fitted to my caad 12 In lbs . I’ve left it back as I’m not 100% sure . Sooner than start messing around with it . It’s under warranty but the rattling is annoying as it was a solid rattle free bike before the upgrade .djel wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 12:58 amThe only cable going though your top tube would be the rear brake cable...have you checked that?Devotional wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 9:52 pmJust had a di2 R8050 fitted to my caad 12 In lbs . I hate unexpected noise from my bikes . I’ve had problems before with Cannondale bikes with internal cable noise.

Thoughts on a possible project I might start soon. There's a CAAD 10 56cm frame (Gulf colourway) at the bike shop I work at (my boss is looking to sell the frame). Thinking of building it up from scratch. Just wanted to know if anyone on here had done any CAAD 10 builds from scratch. Wanna get ideas and feedback on what to change first and tips. Thanks!

Just received this 56 caad 10! Got it very cheap. Going to be built as winter/rain rig with full fenders! It has got a 24mm bb30 converter installed, but I need to get that out as I have a praxis turn zante chainset I want to install. Otherwise it’s going to have 10 speed 105, aksium wheels, 3t stem and a few other bits and pieces from the donor winter bike. I did think about a respray, but for now it’s just going to be like this with the mismatching fork and scratches. Hoping to hit around 8kg with fenders ect.
