no but I would bring it back to them have them face your bottom bracket.

Yes, regardless it needs to be faced. I've not seen anything like that before. You'll have a much better idea what's underneath when the facing is done. You want it to look like this once it's faced...
Colnago C64 - The Naked Build; Colnago C60 - PR99; Trek Koppenberg - Where Emonda and Domane Meet;
Unlinked Builds (searchable): Colnago C59 - 5 Years Later; Trek Emonda SL Campagnolo SR; Special Colnago EPQ

How could that possibly work if you don't have derailleur cable stops built into the down tube?
So I picked up another one... Anyone know the paint code for the pink CT1 in the back? I think it's CTR?
Does anyone have a 1" Star for they're willing to get rid of? Would love one with Yellow lettering.
LX10 C40 has been my nice weather long ride bike.
GEO Dream has been my all weather commuter.
CT1 is destined to replace the C40

One of my first C64 builds.
This is a PKBK in 54s, SR11 and Bora Ultra 35.
Have both AD colours and the Silver PKSL being built soon too.
I have to say, personally I went the other way and bought an AD10 C59, but that's another story.
Pictures of that one to follow soon too.

See this bit of sandpaper-like stuff on the seatpost that i've so beautifully circled?
Is that standard? Would seem a little worrying if you had to add that.

That’s on the seat post from the factory. It’s roughed up there. The seat clamp is quite good actually. I took it completely out last week to check it out. And inside there’s some solid steel mounts as part of the lug. It looks like if the seatpost ever did want to slide down a bit, it would not be able to because the downward sliding would cause the clamp to get even tighter.

Correct on the seatclamp Cal, a design feature.
The frame is growing on me, I like the seat tube.
I'm not sure I'll ever come round to the head tube and fork but I thought that about R9100 cranks and I like them now..

I'll be ordering my C64 tomorrow and I'm running full 9150 Di2 on it.SuperDomestique wrote: ↑Sun Mar 04, 2018 10:35 pmCorrect on the seatclamp Cal, a design feature.

What colour are you getting?
@SuperDomestique: Why did you choose to run the cables like you did up front, as opposed to crossing in the downtube like I do on my builds where possible? The C64, with the cable port in the middle of the downtube makes it impossible to route cables the way you did (and so did Colnago on all their review bikes) without incurring some significant rub on the frame, particularly the headtube. I know I could do a super clean cable run on this frame, but only with internal cable cross method.
Oh, and looks like the Pictures Of Colnagos thread will be receiving some more bumps in the foreseeable future.
