Please mister, can we see some more? You have four alive and one dead, enough material for lots of great Colnago shots!!!

Never got quite comfortable on my G5 so kept my eyes open for something a tad shorter. Very happy after a couple of rides on the indoor trainer - most likely a keeper :) And of course it doesn't hurt that it looks like this:

Yes, it's a Colnago. Blue electrical tape was the only one I had left - will swap it out for white later, looks a bit cheesy now.

White Industries hubs laced to Ambrosio Excellences. Supposed to do an all silver build (XR200-Bikelover --> shaving off -300g) but the spokes arrived a little late so those have to wait until spring.

Luckily the wheels play well with the frame.

Oh, now that is nice. The rims work really well. Not completely sold on those hoods though....

I used to race a C40HP in the same colours. Very fond memories - in fact probably my favorite bike ever.

thanks!
the rack is a modular thing bought from the local hardware chain, it's called "StoreEase", think it is an australia only product. works very well, is cheap and is easy to work with.

Thanks for all the kind words! Appreciate it :thumbup:
Got a lot of inspiration from this thread - many beautifull bikes in here, and I really enjoy putting together a custom build. Hoping to be able to do a C50 some time in the future.

@rico
I'm a little split on the hoods myself but I like the overall look. The translucency stirs things up, I think.

That C59 is very nice. Classic bars, all black and TRADITIONAL geo :thumbup: ! Try it with a -17 stem so the stem is level with the top tube and some advice: dump the schwalbe tires: crap. Nothing but punctures. (Go for Vittoria Evo with the classic side walls)

unfortunately no chance of a -17, im pushing it as it is (i'm built like a girl, long ass legs, no torso, average arms).

i would accept your advice if i didn't completely disagree with it. ive had 1 puncture in 7500km on schwalbe tyres. but classic sidewalls would be bad ass.
