Yes yes... Bat wings on wheels and little tiny bats flying all over the top tube. Now we're getting somewhere. But first I'd like to see it with just a white saddle and white tape as the only change. Then, by all means... "murder" the thing!

Don't think I did the bat wings very well... it's not easy to tell that they're bat wings, is it?

Great job. I was hoping to see it with the white tape and black stem. Could you black out the stem as one last step before we go really crazy with this thing?

I was just thinking that white stem is making all the bike a bit non-traditional.
Sometimes the thing that botheres us, is actually making it special.

Its like the last unicorn ;) :D

Another idea, sorry, this must be like 'spot the difference'.

EDIT: Felt it needed a white top cap and spacer.

Thanks Carpetfiber. I think I've seen what I needed to see. Now go to town...Bats, pink elephants, tutti frutti. Have fun.

Ha, just saw your lost mod... Interesting. Something about that front end is just all very "inharmonious". Not keen on all the prologo logos on the saddle either. Oh well, it was a good effort. Oh wait! It just came to me... A bright red saddle with all that new "strawberry" stuff from Deda... Bars, stem, etc. Hmmm... Could we be getting a bit carried away here. We've probably bastardized this thread enough... What the hell... One pink elephant on the downtube wouldn't hurt.

Actually, the white stem on the original bike needs more black color on.

This is a really nice bike and in the flesh I think you would hardly notice some of the small details which we are agonising over here. The more I look at it the more I think that the original edition is probably pretty sweet. Is it possible to see some more pics from other angles of the original?........especially the front. Great thread.
