How about a sub-6kg build with a frame weighing over 1.2kg
My beloved 2008 BMC Pro Machine - 5.65kg with the original paint scheme - later 5.9kg with no paint and some WW tweaks but addition of Di2 and some leather. Recently got upgraded with 2014 SR and LW Gipelsturms so possibly a shade lighter now.

This threads needs an aero build and not this thin walled tiny tubes beauties. lol.

I weighed the bike and it is currently 5960g / 13.13 lbs. This bike is a rocket.

I have now updated the cranks to some new to me Lightning 170mm with semi aero Fibre-Lyte 50T and a FSA 36t small ring (just until I change over the rings on my English build) then this will get a 34t carbon inner.

Berk saddle is not new but I am ridding this now and it is an amazing piece of kit. So nice to ride this saddle even though everyone that sees it thinks I am nuts.

The stem/bars were supposed to be a lot more but in the end we could not do what I was hoping for so we just settled for the stem/bar bonded. That being said, these bars are solid and feel so amazing while out of the saddle sprinting and climbing.

Nice... How much weight did you save with the switch from Ultegra to SRAM Red?

Did you change the stem and handlebars?

Effectively there are some weightweenie bits on there to shave off that last ~200g.

Props on the clean builds, everyone. Seeing a lot of SRAM builds so far. I like!

Caad7 r5000 black anodized Optimo. 5.76kg (12.7lbs) complete with speed play pedals and ready to ride as shown.

Anodized finish has proven to be incredibly durable. Looks like new everywhere. And I mean perfect condition.

Here's my latest, I think it's around 5.2kg or so in the picture. Combos for the seatpost/saddle and bar/stem have been ordered which should save 170g, plus the THM Fibulas and Tune TT skewers which are currently on it is another ~40g.

Old build that is just short of the 6kg mark.
Frame: 2010 Time RXR Ulteam (medium)
Fork: Time
Headset: Time
Stem: Time
Handlebars: Time 44cm O-O
Bartape: Time
Rear D: 2010 Campagnolo Super Record 11s
Front D: 2010 Campagnolo Super Record 11s
Shifters: 2010 Campagnolo Super Record 11s
Cranks: 2010 THM Claviculas 110mm compact /172.5mm

Tires: Continental GP4000s 22mm
Pedals: Time i-clic Carbon/TI
Saddle: Sella San Marco Aspide Carbon

Final weight: 6.05kg.

I've recently been able to score a good deal on some new parts and frame so I really do hope that I can drop down to 5.99kg at least.

New Setup:
Frame: 2016 Time Skylon French edition
Fork: Time Activ
Headset: Time quickset headset
Saddle: To be decided. (the aspide was way too hard and I had trouble adjusting to it)
Pedals: To be decided but for the time being I'll stick with ones that came together with the frameset
Groupset: 2017 Campagnolo Super Record EPS V3
Cranks: 2010 THM Carbones Clavicula (modified by THM to fit the BB386 EVO on the time)
Chainrings: Praxis Buzz 50/34
Chainring bolts: THM chainring bolts
Bottom Bracket: CeramicSpeed PF4630 Coated
Brakes: THM Carbones Fibulas
Brake cables: To be decided (Either Nokons or Alligator i-Links with KCNC Ti Cables)
Wheels: Lightweight Obermayer GEN III 16/20
Tires: Continental GP4000S II 25mm
Handlebar Tape: Lightweight handlebar tapes
Stem: Time
Handlebars: Time

As it is now, these are the only parts that are with me now.

Thinking of changing the 18t star ratchet system in the DT-SWISS rear hubs to the newer and lighter 54T star ratchet for better engagement.
