It's still original team frame and I would keep it like that even it looks little boring. Not everyone have those. If you want something new I would just buy cheap second hand frame and paint it.

Work in progress.. I couldn't find a CX that could tempt me this year, and I've been looking for a while, even considering Open and the 3T Exploro.

I decided against buying new this year and instead refurbishing my trusty old (and very heavy) alu CX from 2011 to fit an integrated Di2 groupset I had laying around (10s).

It turned out the process wasn't as straight forward as I had hoped. I planned to use the drain hole on the chainstay to route the wire through the BB house and up into the seat tube and a hole on the downtube to go the same route through the BB, into the seat tube. The holes from these tubes going into the BB are tiny though, approximately 8 mm in diameter. The E-tube plug is roughly 5 mm, and I drilled the external holes to 6 mm, avoiding the welds.

I used an old shifter cable as a guide, duct taping the Di2 wire to the shifter cable. The internal junction box had to be fitted inside the seat tube and I stuffed the battery into the seat post.

This bike is an old beater and built with very thick aluminium but it seems nothing was damaged in the process. Picture of the entire bike to follow later.

2016 Felt F1x Di2 w/ Enve CX tubulars- 7.5 kg

I don't see many Felt's at the races- but I absolutely love this bike. Very stiff and handles exceptionally well. The 1x DA Di2 shifting has been excellent too.

Dura Ace Di2 1x
Enve CX tubulars
Ritchey Superlogic Evocurve bars
Ritchey Superlogic stem
3T Ionic VR 25 Team Stealth seatpost
Rotor 40T Q ring

Seatpost: Deda Zero
Saddle: Prologo Scratch Pro

I have a new project in the works, figured it was best to ask here. Anyone who is running 1x11 Campagnolo, what is the largest cassette you can run?

My first CX bike, looking forward to taking it for a spin once I get a spare 5 mins. Changed the RD for a long cage and fitted a 10-42 cassette as most of my riding involves plenty of hills. Only other change was the saddle (Prologo Nago), bars (3T Ergonova Carbon CX) and stem (3T ARX II Stealth). Still need to go tubeless. XT pedals and some cheap Elite cages round out the build.

8.9kg as pictured so not a WW for sure but that Alex Rims wheelset is a bit of a boat anchor. Will look to change that out for something a bit lighter once my wallet recovers. Will probably change the seatpost and collar for something lighter and more forgiving too.
