Pretty shattered. Coupled with a lovely €101 bill for shipping my own stuff over. Not really loving life at the moment.

And Dodger, which crazy rules? Aside from having to be on the bike path unless you're in a bunch of 15 riders or more. At least that's what we've been told.

I usually ride up here, but I'd already done the day's riding and opted for a hike at 1 am. As the weather cleared it was just too beautiful to go to bed :-)

Sorry, I was referring more to the liberal view of the road rules which most drivers appear to take. It seems a bit of a free for all around Brussels [which isn't necessarily a bad thing].

I didn't know about the 15 rider rule either, so thanks for that!

Honestly, I've found them to be exceedingly courteous and a lot of times giving way - even when it's me who should be giving way to them.

But that's just in comparison to Australia. The Thai's are a lot more liberal with regards to road rules, but never endangered me once in the months I was living and training there.

I know all about the dork disc unfortunately

I posted it in the 'what have you bought' thread, I have just moved to Belgium and am still waiting on my tools to come etc. so can't get the lockring off to get rid of it! I don't even have my bottle cages yet...

It's only plastic. Can cut through it with a decent pair of scissors.

I've tried the scissors, but the cassette doesn't allow them to go down far enough to get to the hub, it's also quite flexible so I can't snap it...

Anyway, enough of the dork disc ( ) let's see more pictures!

Unbelievable photos. But do any of you guys WORK? I get to bed at 1am at the moment after finishing work at midnight.
Then my Son wakes us up at 6am, school run, work, 45minutes a day is about all I can manage.
sigh.

Leviathan, thanks, summer holiday up north! :)

However I don't have a girlfriend and have no kids, so when I have time off, I'm free to choose. Now, on the others here I agree with you.. don't you guys WORK!? ;-)
