I.... I can't compare with Basilic.
Or Switzerland.

But it was a nice day out. This week coming will be miserable though. It's going to be hellishly hot for the Tour of California riders heading South; meanwhile I'll be heading North.

Just hope I can have some fun.

Now I'm here, the amount of hitters all trying to make it is staggering. So had to revise expectations a little

Ultyguy- That ride up and around the Saxonnex area was one of my favorite rides I did in that area, but those descents are scary as hell!

KW, agreed - several sections were still unswept from the winter, with fresh potholes (e.g. plateau d'Andey). But the descent from Saxonnex to Scionzier was perfect, with a tailwind no less.
prendrefeu, you are not doing badly yourself!

Yeah, I've been busy trying to race a bit but will have a bit of time towards the end of this month to do some longer discovery rides, definitely heading back Saxonnex way!

Had some good rides on the weekend - this pic is taken from Ceres after doing two repeats of a pretty popular climb in Geelong (Marrewarp / Ceres Back Climb).
Managed to smash my PB and am now only 55sec off Tinea Pedis (KOM) on the strava leader board (im now 10th) - not bad for an 80kg, non climber type!

*edit one of the pics didn't upload properly! :(

I visited family this past weekend in Marin County. The riding up there is unreal.
