I doubt it , but if they do come around that weight, i'll get a set too lol.
If you look at the zipp 303 clincher with 44mm rim comes at around 1623grams.

Because "proiettile" would not be pronounced by properly by anyone outside of Italy.
Campagnolo was already apparently too difficult that the market made "Campy" a seemingly official term... even though calling something "campy" is not a compliment.

They are late to the party though even so these will be better than many rivals due to the hubs and build quality.
Should concentrate on updating the excellent Boras ... more aero rim shape and rear stiffness please.

Doesn't make sense to me as the sister company already has deep dish carbon clinchers and they are light. My only guess they are marketing a product at a price point to fill in gaps in the product range and to place other products that thier competitors already have. Its an old marketing story!
