So i finally bought myself a second hand Wilier Cento 1 Air. It came with Fulcrum Racing Zero which is decently light but not exactly first pair of wheels come in to mind when we talk aero.

i dont think i want to go full-fat deep 70+ profile yet.

I have a soft spot for Italian brands, so naturally i looked into the Fulcrum and Campy range. The non-fancy Campy Bullet 50 seems pretty good. they are around 700 GBP in uk. But being new to aero, im looking for suggestions for other alternatives. I would prefer aluminium brake track tho, so i can quickly swap back to Racing zero without worrying about pads.

plus points for wider rim profile, both Fulcrum red wind and Campy Bullet are fairly narrow. I intend to use at least 25mm tyres if not 28mm.

EDIT: yea, budget is around 700GBP, i don't really want to splash out too much on my first set. i think absolute max will be 1000 GBP.

Thanks.
Some say pour 10ml water out of your bottle to save that last bit of the weight. Sorry, i go one step further, i tend to the rider off my bikes.
n+1...14 last time i checked, but i lost count
