Hey guys,

I'm going to be looking at these wheels for my buddy who's currently out of the country. The guy is advertising them as new, saying they came on a new bike. I only asked his two questions which were the model year (2016) which I assume makes them the current 177/77 model and two, whether they were custom built, or OEM. So I plan on seeing them tonight and need some pointers.

Thanks!

check the rims to see if there is wear on the brake section .... if there is, then it's not new, it's used

take a digital scale with you .... the set should weigh close to 1,885 grams ... (incase it's a cheap Chinese rim with Zipp Transfers) .... and the hubs should be Zipp’s 77/177 .... fit them to a frame and check if they run true
