Powerway R13 hub set stats 15.75/37.45 41% tension L/Rt w Jpegs

Recently purchased for 'X' wheelset .. experimental. Stats posted marketing ad musta not made the
trip per translation.. wayyyy off. So .. given I can NOT find anything on the Powerway site.. this is what I measure at. SINCE... Powerway sent drawing.

15mm center to right is awful. Best config might be radial or 1X heads in on right and crossed pattern on left, but I wouldn't build wheels with those hubs.

Bitex from bikehubstore would be a better budget option.

I can find no way to access Powerway stats, hub internal schematics et al anywhere-- which includes their site. But I knew before plunking down the coins. Yet I do not employ 11 speeds... do not rock the bike climbing so I think clearance is a non issue for me (?).

To reiterate .. this hub purchase for a 'X' project 12-8 lacing. I'm riding this configuration in a 560 gr rim with Sapim Strong laced all radial both ends... rims/spokes producing a very stiff wheel. Next version very light .. testing the limits per my wt and riding style.

Granted pic quality isn't clear .... ruler markings & hub both blk. These measurements give 105/72.5 balance R/L on 12-8 lacing with this hub... rim being Kinlin 200 which I limit to 105 kgf. Using a rim at 120 kgf rt would yield 82+ left 12-8.

So lopping off 4 left spokes from 24H down to 20---> 12-8 increases left tension from 55+ to 82+kgf over 12/12 24H conventional lacing using 120 kgf max rt.. the reason for my interest.

Makes one wonder who/what designed the Powerway hubs...........

Either way, 20 spokes isn't a lot for a rear wheel. I wouldn't ride it at my 74kg.

I can understand that. I'm around 83 k's.. we're going to see.

I've seen rear 20's being used for a guy well (well..) over 3 bills... albeit bladed aluminum of substantial size/thickness. I do not follow pro cycling but one sees pics of G3 21's in use for elite riders. I've "straightened" a few rims .. one mangled in a wreck headed towards a figure 8 shape (learning/recreational pursuit) which impressed me the strength of the alloy hoop. And being a fitness rider who does no climbing (no real grades these parts) that test mute. Tires and the pressure their run at (mine 28's at 80 psi rear) mean much.

If I could have found an alloy light weight G3 drilling that was my preference. But just an itch to scratch...
