Hi everyone. I'm looking at getting a pair of used Bontrager Aeolus 3 wheels. They're the older non tubeless ready version. I've done a bit of searching and they seem to be 1440g(claimed). I can't find much about the wheels in general though. Any thoughts?

had them for a little while on the wifes bike (which I built so I rode them) decent wheel.. fairly light, I think the weight claim is pretty close to true. I know I weighed them when I sold them and I don't remember them being over 1500g for sure. Dry braking is ok.. wet braking is not great like most carbon clinchers w/o special tracks. Hubs are DT swiss based so pretty decent.

I can deal with the not great wet braking. I live in a very flat area so it's not a huge concern. There's also a cheap set of campy sciroccos I'm keeping around if I ever feel the need to ride in a torrential downpour
