Due to clearance and the desire to run 25mm tires I'm looking to stay with a more narrow rim. I'm looking at either a custom built set of DT Swiss rims with t11 or 240 hubs and Cx-Ray spokes or the Dura ace 9000 c35. I know these are two different sets of wheels, which is why I'm here. For an all around wheelset which would you choose? I weigh 165

Have you tried the 25c tires on a wide rim for fit first? I have an older Ridley frame where 25s on a 15c rim would rub against the rear brake bridge but would clear it on a 17mm inside width rim.

I haven't, my clearance issues are at my chainstays. A 25mm tire on my 15mm rim measures 26mm, I'm sure it would be wider on a 17mm rim. I could probably handle a tire width of 26.5mm but that would give me about a mm of tire/chainstay clearance.

From those two choice, Dura Ace all day long. Bullet proof, stiff, look great.
People will say, "...But, gosh, if you ever need parts!..." That's just it, you will never need parts. And most likely never need to true them.
