Hi all,

I have seen a few discussion about the Roval (~1415grams) but no one talked about the DT Swiss one (~1530grams)and it could be that DT Swiss ones aren't released until March.

They both seems to use DT240s internal and ceramic bearing so which one would you go for?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I'm considering that exactly... add in the mix of Zipp 303 Disc Tubeless 2017, Enve SES 5.6 Disc...

I'm leaning towards custom build 5.6 disc with White Ind CLD hub. That's the heavier of the choices but replacement parts are easy to get.

Zipp hub... alu spline is inferior to CLD hub. Heavy wheelset.

Roval 50, the lightest. Not sure how the hub works out.

DT Swiss, could be the best?

something about the copy written for the new Rovals suggested to me that they are no longer 240s

i would hesitate about less than 24 spoke front.

Rear clx32 (disc) is still dt240. I took it apart a few day's ago after >3 months of winter ride. Still in perfect condition!!

CLX32/50 +1, very light for the price and depth.

I am using the DT Swiss ERC 1100 Dicut 47 DB on my BMC
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=148608

They are FANTASTIC! DT Swiss quality in the hubs, in the spokes and the rims!
The rim also have for example a hole for the rain to get out in case.
BTW they are very stable in cross winds!

The ERC Dicut 1100 have SINC ceramic bearings, the Roval have CeramicSpeed bearings.

The Roval have a 20.7mm internal width, the ERC have a 19mm.

If you have a Spez. bike you may want to go for the Spez. Roval however.
