Yeap I have racing zero nite and climb performance @ 3% not much difference. Descending is awesome on racing zero nite as usual

I said I don't really notice much difference, not that there isn't a difference. So don't misquote what I said.

Given that there is only around 120g difference in weight between Shamal Mille and Roval CLX64 that would in fact make perfect sense.

I could lose that 120g just by taking a pre ride dump :p

I'm not sure if any of you realize that time savings between two wheels (e.g., 50mm and 64mm) is 7 seconds in 40k.
Racing is a three-dimensional high-speed chess game, involving hundreds of pieces on the board.

Bingo! Needless to say, shallower wheels are lighter and handle crosswinds better.

Honestly my CLX64 and 808NSW I only have because they aesthetically match the bikes they are on very well and I got a good deal on them. Any aero benefit how ever slight is just a bonus, but wasn't the primary driver in purchase.

Indeed aesthetic is very important to a bike just like I'll never put a high profile wheelset on bianchi specialissima of mine. Keep it at racing zero nite with 23mm tire to retain the classic look

The CLX64's just look better to me and definitely need black walled tyres, I hate the skin wall thing! I'm sure I've read that the new 50's are slightly faster but the difference will be tiny for most of us. I have 50mm deep wheels on my 50cm frame and wish I had deeper wheels!

OK, here's the deal...a little late to the game. I have had the CLX50's since 2/7/17. They are simply ridiculous in every way. No question, go with 50's vs. 64's IF you live in a hilly/mountainous region and with high winds...like me in the Denver/Golden, Colorado area. I ride 25mm Conti GP4000S II's and they measure about 27.5-28mm ON the rims. Best tires ever. Period. Incredible wheels. What other questions? I weigh 178 lbs and I run 95-100 psi in both front and rear.

28.38mm Image

My frame is Lynskey Helix Sport Disc and thanks for the measurement and I would still assume 25mm @95PSI?

Please let us know the result when you play around w/ the tire pressure.

90psi @ 28.38mm I guess it won't go any thinner. Next set of tires will put 23mm to test.

Did you end up trying the 23mm Schwalbe's? What'd they measure out to?

Are the decals on the Roval wheels removable stickers?

The decals in the rims are stickers so should be removable. The decals on the hubs are not stickers.

Thanks! I would replace them with something white, as black wouldn't match my bike. The white Sagan version is not availiable for the public it seems:

sorry, digging out an old thread here. Anyone know if CLX64s will fit on an old (pre 2016) s-works venge frame. I know the clearance isn't great but any experience?
thanks
