Help me identify my hubs
Moderator: robbosmans
Hi Everybody,
I am mostly just a lurker on here buth i got a problem and i am sure some members can help me!
Last year i bought a pair of carbon wheel second hand of a guy who bought them through his team.
He could not tell me much about it, he claimed they were handbuilt buth i would not trust on that.
They have been great on me, strong and preform very well.
Now i am willing to change the cassette body because the cassette has wear down on the body and will become stuck every time i use them.
The problem is, i can't seem to identify my hubs or cassette body anywhere.

I had 2 sets of Nuke Proofs, and from memory they used XTR freehub bodies.
Looking at the freehub pawl pic, its similar design to the pre large axle Campag one with separate coil springs for each pawl.
The only other to my knowledge was the Hope Ti-Glide, but the rest of the hub says not.
A wild stab in the dark could be Royce, but the overall finish looks low for one of theirs.
Happy hunting!

They still remain a mystery, already thx to everybody for their suggestions.
I got a lead trough another source (facebook) that they might be corima hubs or that the corima cassette body fits.
Will dig into that tomorrow!

Update:
Saturday i will visit a shop with corima hubs and body's in stock and we will try to match them. If the cassette body fit's i am happy.
Another lead pointed me in the direction of Royce hubs. Their cassette body look very similar and also their hub might be a match.
I emailed cliff @ royce. Hope to have an answer soon.
And the final lead pointed me in the direction of PMP hubs. Still looking into that.
It's like sherlock holmes work at the moment.

Hello everyone,
Another update from the mystery hub's.
The corima lead proved to be a dead end. The free hub was very similar but not exactly the same so it would not fit on my wheel.
We tried about 20 body's buth still no luck. So i will need to keep looking.
I email royce hubs buth cliff confirmed me it was not a Royce hub.
Now following the lead of the old zipp hub's or the nuke proof hubs.
More suggestions are always welcome.

Hi everyone,
I can proudly say that the mystery is solved.
This morning i got a email from zipp to confirm that they are zipp 104 (front) and 295 (rear) hubs.
I am very glad i now know the origin of the hubs. Now come's the next problem, they are discontinued and there are no spare parts available.
