basically round the head of the fork its very hard to not get the carbon prefictly flat which affects the strength, and also air bubbles in the layup, especially the head tube.

Sorry for reviving this zombie thread, now have a chance to buy 2006 alh brake track 404 in great shape for 500 usd. Is it a great deal? Now riding aksiums - freehub body is terribly loose, dont like freehub sound, also want something lighter, more comfortable to ride and more aero... as fas as I ma concerned this zipps weight ~1650g?
