My birthday is coming up so I'd like to buy a set of wheels for my Giant TCX as the stock wheels are HEAVY.

I found Zipp Course 30 disc for 775€ online so I'm looking around for something to match it or better it in terms of price and performance.

I use the bike for gravel and a bit of CX so a wide rim (17mm IRD minimum) weight and aero are important. The stiffness not so much as I'm 72kg.

Zipp Course 30 disc
Weight; 1650gr
IRD; 21mm
Rim height; 26mm
Price; 775€

Handbuild set 1 (Velocity Aileron / DT Swiss 240 / DT Revo light)
Weight; 1566gr
IRD; 19.5mm
Rim height; 27.5mm
Price; 750€

Handbuild set 2 (DT Swiss R460db / Carbon Ti disc / DT Revo light)
Weight; 1446gr
IRD; 18mm
Rim height; 23mm
Price; 760€

Suggestions are welcome :)

Yes, aero-gravel is now a thing ... with 3T releasing a gravel aero bike

But seriously, for your wheels, if your bike is not this one and if you don't necessarily want to prove 3T marketing guys right, you should go for :
- the lightest
- the most confortable
(pick one only) :smartass:

Fair point as speeds are much lower on gravel. The extra comfort of lower rim also helps.

I just ran into the Ritchey WCS Zeta wheels that seem to be a good choice too but I can't find their rim height anywhere.
