I don't really care about the origin of HUNT wheelset, I have 3 wheelsets on my 2017 Cannondale Supersix EVO Black Inc. HUNT is the surprising winner among three. At friction of the costs, I set all my personal records with HUNT 38Carbon on climbing. It is the cheapest and heaviest one among three as well.

The other two are ENVE SES 4.5 with Chris King hubs, and AX-Lightness Ultra 25T tubular with Extralite hub fill with Ceramicspeed bearing.

Just be VERY ( I mean VERY ! ) careful on air pressure with Hunt & tubeless setup. I mean REALLY careful.

I think the hubs they use are D411SB-CL and D412 SB-CL. They weigh around 330g for a pair. I don't know the bearing size but r2bike has the rear for 125 euro's so not cheap unless you buy lots.

The Bitex B106F/106R is a similar weight and has convential flanges and is cheaper. I would use those.

I've seen them come off Archetypes and 404s FCs under cornering. They were our team tire a few years ago and they felt fine but we stopped using them halfway through the season because we had so many problems.

Can you tell us more, because I am using them intensively.

Check Hubsmith and Cho-sen for their hubs.

Interdasting. I had a few left in the stockpile and I'm ONLY using them on the rear. No problems yet but if it goes it won't send me to the hospital for a clavicle. :D

Easy blows off damaging rim. Have somewhere video what 60PSI did to Hunt rim, if I'll find it, will post.

Hunt doesn't provide replacement rims, you have to buy new wheel.

Got a set for a friend and they came in 100g over claimed weight...

Club colleague got a set too - 120g over. That places them in another tier, and it would have been better to have a set built somewhere else.

I guess that's the price you pay. Is this common for the HUNT rims or just a small batch?

anyone has any informations on the next rims they are developping ? it's the only thing keeping me from buying a pair of 50mm wide carbon wheels. I would be sad to buy a pair of wide aero wheels and seeing a new pair coming out this summer. especially when they said that it would be similar to the enve 4.5 AR Disc (28mm optimized and mid aero).

for the price of Hunt you might as well get lightbicycle wheels where you can put on decent hubs & spokes (Industry 9, DT240s, etc)
