I think Schmolke replied 110kg on their Facebook page when someone inquired as well.

Hm, the TLO30T model looks to be a quite good climbing wheel for a 70kg rider, right? (not sure if I like Tune hubs or Extralite hubs (used on AX wheels) better...)
Any ideas when they're available for real purchase?

everyone who sells you extralites will tell you it's not an everyday hub.. but I got the normal version last year and rode it daily ( no rain ) .. did level 1 re-lube every 6 months and no issues. Going with straight pull this time around.. the 4.5 I'm having Fairwheel build will be everyday wheels. I prefer extralite over tune.

Looks really interesting at that weight / price point. Give schmolke benefit of the doubt that they will not put out a substandard product and ruin their name. But would like to hear more before pulling the trigger. Tune hubs plus those 30mm tlo rims might be just what I am looking for
Specialized Tarmac Sworks SL6, Moots Compact, Carl Strong Titanium
Whats the internal diameter of the clincher rim?
Has anyone bought or ridden these yet?
In particular the SL45 clincher version.
If so then how do they compare to other 40mm/45mm clinchers at around this price?
I'm attracted to them because of the price (about £1200 ex vat for the SL45C) / the potential perceived quality / the build [hub/spokes].
The SL rim weight seems very light - are they suitable for a 90kg rider?
Are they for everyday riding or more for a 60kg rider for race day only?
I've seen some german sites where you can specify a mix of CX Ray and CX Sprint (drive side) spokes which I would go for being a heavier rider.
Would it be fair to say that with the Tune Mig70/Mag170 I would be better off with a 24/28 drilling rather than the 20/24 offered?
Or would I be better off looking for a heavier rim with more material for greater longevity/stiffness?
Thanks,
E

Got this from Schmolke. (SL45 clincher).
Really interested in buying these but am tentative due to no real world experience - on paper they look good.
Schmolke also mentioned that they were hoping to get their rims tested in the spring Tour magazine.
Can anyone help with my previous questions?...
So they're optimized for a tire coming out as 23mm wide on their internal width.
