Hi. I've found the Bora 50 tubs in the link below and I've been told by the shop that they are the 2015 model. I want the 2015 to run 25mm tubs.

From closer inspection and basically looking at the graphics they look to me like the 2014 model?

The shop say that they have 25mm tubs on them and they are 2015.

How can I tell as I wont be able to inspect in person first.

many thanks

Those are not 2015. For one, a dead giveaway is the lack of external nipples on the spokes. I can tell at a glance those are not the 2015 rims either. Sure you can out 25mm tires on them (I had them in mine) but they don't fit as well as on the 2015 model with the wider rim. And on the new model there are no spoke holes in the rim bed which makes gluing a breeze.

Definitely not 2015. Wrong graphics (decals). No 3Diamant braking surface.

It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.

There really is no problem running 25mm tubs on older boras. That's the only thing I've ever glued on my 50's from 2014.
