Not a problem with Veloflex 25's. I can't see any problems size wise with the 25mm Vittorias on your C60, especially as a tubular. A friend has 25mm Vittoria Corsa G+ clinchers on his C60 and no issues.

I'm using 25mm Corsa G+ tubs and clinchers with Boras on my C59s and M10 with no clearance problems so I can't envisage any problems on a C60. It's a little tighter with the clinchers.

I've put about 300km on the Veloflex Carbon now and am glad to say I'm very happy with them. Thanks to the lower weight compared to the Arenbergs the Bora 50 end up being just as lightweight as my shallow section Julius AC22 with Conti Force/Attack clinchers and Supersonic tubes - and, oddly enough, they seem more comfortable over rough roads despite me running them at ~25 PSI higher pressure.

Not sure if I should put the latter down to the front tyre being 23mm over the 22mm Attack (though the rear tyre is 23mm also, as opposed to the 24mm Force) or if that's because they're tubulars or because the rims are carbon. Really no idea. I wouldn't even rule out a placebo effect.

No punctures yet either, and not a single cut. And this is in Scotland, with really quite rubbish roads - that's saying something, my Conti clinchers usually have cuts after only a few short rides already, so quite happy in that department as well. I'll keep the Julius with the Conti Force/Attack clinchers as winter wheels when there's salt and more detritus out there, but that's more to do with conserving the braking surface of the wheels rather than to say anything about my confidence in the tyres.

I'm *still* a tiny bit wary about the tape, but the tyres haven't rolled off on me yet - and that's after doing some fairly high speed cornering. Was much less apprehensive about this today than I was on my first ride with them, mind. Starting to build trust, one survived ride at a time. But I think next time I put tyres on these wheels I'll glue them.

Thanks for the report, much appreciated. Gives me confidence in them hearing no punctures yet. I use tape to and have had no problems yet either.

I received my set of Bora One 50's from Starbike. They weigh 1,220g according to my Park hanging scale -- 40g less than advertised. Superb and beautiful craftsmanship as one would expect from Campagnolo. (And, at a price of <$1,300 shipped to US with the WW discount, these wheels are a bargain compared to Enve, Reynolds, Zipp, etc.)

I glued on a set of Veloflex Arenbergs (282g and 284g -- also less than advertised). I don't have an accurate device to measure the width of the tires on the rims, but they appear to be, perhaps, a very wee bit wider than the rims at ~90psi. I think the slightly narrower Criteriums or Carbons also would work on these rims, but I didn't think to confirm that before gluing on the Arenbergs (I have some spare Criteriums/Carbons that I use on my 2014 Bora 35's).

With the Arenbergs, I only have about 3mm of clearance from the chain stays on either side on my Dedacciai Nerissimo frame, but I think that will be ok. I'm using the Campag skewers to help ensure the wheel doesn't slip in the dropouts.

I am using 30mm valve extensions I had bought, not realizing that the wheels come supplied with extensions and related doodads. The 30mm extensions seem to be just long enough with the Veloflex valves. I'm running them at 95/85 psi currently, and I think I can go lower.

The rear hub is super silent now when freewheeling. I'm sure it will get a bit nosier with miles, as did the rear hub on my 35's.

I'm super happy with these so far.

I've got this exact setup on order (the tires are here, waiting on the wheels) - looking forward to it!

At this moment Vittoria Rally 23mm  . It's because they where new and on the wheelset when I bought them last week. They will stay on until spring time I guess. Then I will mount my Schwalbe One 24mm ( most favorite tubular tire for me over the last few years )

Life is too short to ride crappy tyres. Fit the Schwalbe. Do it. Do it now. :D

My first ever Campag wheels! Went through the clincher/tub, Enve/Campag/FFWD dilemma for weeks.

Thanks to WW I plumped for Bora Ultra 35 Dark tubs due to weight, braking, depth and looks.

I have Vittoria CX on a set of Vision TC24's which are sublime BUT I decided to go with what I know so I'm stretching Conti Comps on the rims at the moment.

The rims weighed in at 1170g with Shimano freehub-I'm not certain my scales don't estimate a little upward by 10g or so.

Is that with the alloy or steel Shimano freehub?

Not sure! It's got a white coating so I can't immediately tell.

Definitely alloy of some sort-not magnetic. It looks ceramic with the coating on it!

Surprised to see "Made in Romania" on the box. I'm sure I saw Campag stating they use the best Italian carbon fibre or are the components put together in Romania?

Does Romania have specialist wheel building factorys? I think a lot of Mavics are built there too.

I received my first set of tubular wheels this week, Bora One 50 from Starbike. I weighed them today and they are 1218 gr! (Campy freehub). I'll be using Veloflex Roubaix tires (282 and 283 gr with Campy valve extenders).

I'm waiting for Carogna tape to arrive so I can start riding.

Brilliant, very good weight.

Let us know how you get on, especially with the combination of Veloflex tyres and Carogna tape. I'm not yet entirely sure that I totally trust the bond.

Thanks userfriendly. I received the tape today and finished the job. Went for 25mm version as it's recommended for 24+mm wide rims but ended up shaving a good 3mm from the side of the tape in the end. I should go for 21mm version and save myself from a hassle. :)

I'll go for my first ride on Saturday and hopefully will be able to comment on the bond.
