25mm x 38mm clincher: tubes or tubeless?

I just picked up the above carbon wheels and looking for insight from others on running tubeless as well as 23mm or 25mm tires? Any rider experiences? If tubeless, plugs or tape and preferred sealant? On tire size, I like Continential GP 4K. I've read dozens of reports and write ups, but have found no consensus. I suppose many riders here have tried both, especially with this tire. TIA!

Conti GP can't be run tubeless.
Plugs won't work with tubeless.
If your rims don't have bead well/shelves they can't be run tubeless.

Converted my non tubeless carbon rims to run tubeless. No trickery needed stans tape ans valves are that you will need. Go tubeless you have nonresdon not to. Despite what some say tubeless is simply better with the right tyres.

what width rim and tire size you running?

25mm wide rims and i used irc formula light 23mm tyres. Compressed air was needed to seat the tyre. Done lots of miles no issues. Most rims can be set up tubeless. You could probably set up the maic open po tubeless.

Thr only issues is if i flat the tyre it will unseat but if i flat the tyre i will be reinflating with co2 anyway.

I thought about the flat scenario also. Good to know it will re-seat w/co2.

I was thinking about a 23 tire on these rims instead of a 25. I was looking at the SES 3.4 and the rims are 24/26; they recco a 23 tire. Suppose they did some extensive testing on different options before deciding on a 23 (although their rim is not a 25).

I have 25 mm x 35 mm carbon clinchers (Powertap Amp, made by Reynolds) and use a 23 mm tyre front, 25 mm back. I use Conti 4000 S II, which are actually a bit wider than their nominal width. I am using latex tubes, so not a tubeless solution.

bm0p700f, have you sucessfully seated a tubeless tire with emergency CO2 only already?

Really curious if this would work - I just had a blowout on a ride and put a tube in, but then I don't even own CO2.

Agree, section drawing above is not tubeless compatible design.
