Truing C24 9000 wheel : what's the limit

My teammate crashed in a corner yesterday just before me, and all I could do was riding over his back wheel. As you can think, rear wheel took a real beating and has become out of lateral true by something between 1 and 2 cm. Rim hardly clears the rear stays. Can this be trued, or should he bin the wheel? We are also a little concerned about the carbon fairing and the bonding to the rim. Can the carbon fairing withstand such a damage? Wheels have <1000 miles on them
