Tires for LB U-shape 45mm wheels?
Moderator: robbosmans
I recall some posts somewhere but no joy finding them. I have a pair of light-bicycle 45mm u-shape wheels and fitting Conti GP4000s II is nearly impossible, and when I am successful there's seemingly no way NOT to pinch a tube. I'm no noob (been doing this for nearly 30 years) and I can recall only a couple wheels that were this bad. Any recommendations for tires that fit a bit better than the Contis?
Thx!

Try some stans tape wraped super tight.

4289 works well - I am using it on several tubeless rims - but it's not the same as Stan's.
