Anyone know if an R45 rear with an 11 speed free hub will accept a 10 speed cassette with use of a spacer? I see some conflicting info on interwebs.

Just be sure to set your limits correctly so it doesn't over shift

Are you sure that's not because you're looking at people talking about fitting an 11sp cassette to a 10sp hub?

Any 11sp freehub will fit a 10sp cassette with a spacer.

I've used my 45s on CK on 10 and 11 speed with no problem. Can't see why anyone would think otherwise.

I have a wheelset with R45 hubs. I have both a bike with 10- and a bike with 11-speed shimano. I just use the spacer, that comes along with the hub, to make the 10- or 11-speed cassette fit to the hub. It's easy and no problem at all.
