American Classic Sprint 350's frozen spokes advice needed

Hi, I have a pair of American Classic Sprint 350's from 2005. I took them to LBS to have hubs serviced and wheels trued, the mechanic replaced the bearings in the hubs but then couldn't true the wheels as the spokes where seized. Told me they would have to rebuild the wheels. Is there anything I can use to loosen the spokes so they can be trued?
