Don't think I've seen these mentioned here yet.

22mm depth. 281 grams per rim. 27mm wide. New brake track.

Leaning toward getting a pair with Tune 70/170.

Anyone with experience riding them?

I generally had a good time building their predecessors, I figure these will keep the ball rolling without too many differences.

Look like a great product.... but low profile ultralight Tub-only wheels are a niche part of the market and if the rims don't hit a headline weight will the appeal be limited? 280gr is not that light.....

27 - 2 = 25.

I haven't ridden them yet...but about to pick up a set of 2.2 Clinchers with CKR45C hubs. VeloNews and some other riders have noted rear brake pad rub when out of the saddle climbing or sprinting. That is my only concern. Weight ~ 1350 g, which is pretty darn good for clinchers in my opinion. Not super light, but light enough. And I personally think it's somewhat scary going with carbon clinchers that are built too too light...?

Rub was with DT rear hub....let us know about CKs that should be better.

doesn't really matter if you build em to the CKs or the DT hubs. the tubeless shape of the rims sufferers from a large amount of tension drop once the tire is installed an inflated. 20-25% this means that if you have a drive side tension of 120kgf and a non drive side tension of 55kgf you'll lose 20ish kfg off the drive and 11ish kfg from the non drive side.. usually results in a notable change in dish too. This level of tension drop was measured with only 85psi of tire pressure

Really? I have a 50mmx23 wide set of Farsports wheels that weigh 1330g and that are plenty stiff for me @ 77kg.

My 25x23mm set weighs 1219g and is also stiff enough. It could be even lighter, but I used thicker spokes on the rear drive side.

@marin That seems pretty damn light for 50mm clinchers. What hubs do you have on them? With DT350, the farsport website puts them at over 1500g. Are you on extralites?

Hmm, seems they're not selling the lighter rims anymore :)

Are you sure they are 23mm? The 20.5mm rims seem in the 13xx gram range.

But anyway I agree with Cni2i that the Enve 2.2 are a good lightweight choice (but not super light, as he/she acknowledged).

Cni2i - have you received your wheels yet? I'm waiting for the tubular wheelset. Should be with me in a week or two. I spoke to a guy at Enve regarding the brake rub problem. He said they had had a few complaints from people. He recommended the CK hubs as they would be better at preventing the rubbing. Hoping that they will be ok.

Yes, I have 2 sets, both are 23mm wide.

Not sure how hubs would prevent brake rubbing, unless the original hub had really bad geometry?

@marin. Apparently it is to do with the tall flanges on the rear CK hub. Not sure if it is true, but I won't be complaining if I get a silent wheel when climbing :D
