I have a HED Belgium tubular rear wheel that I pick up. It is a 28 hole with a DT240 hub. At the present time it has a straight gauge DT spoke 2x on both ds and nds. The nipples are DT brass. The current spoke have some rusting and are silver and I want a black spoke. The rim is like new. He had it on a gravel road bike that he did not ride.
I want to get it rebuilt with lighter spokes and alloy nipples. I am thinking either DT aerolites or Sapim cx-ray. Both in black.
What configuration would you go with as well as the spokes.
This will be for a new bike that will be here very soon. It will be on a Sarto Trama that was built to my specs. It will run a campy 11speed chorus/record group.
I am 50 yo 170# and do solo and charity rides mainly.
Thanks Brian

Either of those spoke options should be fine, or the round DT revolution/Sapim Laser if you'd like to save money.
