Yes, as the next poster stated, how is it insulating? The brake heat on the clincher would be more at the edge on the other side of the brake track wouldn't it???
How is tape on the flat part of the rim where the tube is touching also help? That makes no sense.
Again, veloplugs just cover the holes of a clincher, not that I do long descents where heat is ever an issue, but still, there are plenty of people using veloplugs that do run carbon clinchers and descend, never heard of that being an issue.
But Continental are the experts I guess???
