I'm looking to get a set of lightweight climbing wheels using the Ryde Pulse Sprint rim. I'm about 66kg

I know CX-Rays are good but expensive. Are the Sapim D-Light spokes a good enough alternative?

Thanks.
Violence is not the answer, but it will do until we find out what is.

D light will be stiffer and a bit heavier than the cxray spokes. I build 28 spokes rears with this rim with laser spokes and the wheel is plenty stiff enough. Never had any issue with lasers being used both sides of a rear wheel so long as the wheel is stiff enough.

Cx ray and laser spokes have the same stiffness So if you think cx rays will be fine and they would lasers will work well too And they do.

Your joking right. Expensive not much lighter than cxray and less stiff. Still think its a good idea.
