they are very similar rims.
it wil; come down to whether you like the nicer finish of the H+ son or the slightly deeper ( and heavier) XC279. the XC 279 is of course cheaper.

Ok thanks.
i think archetype it is.
What would be the ideal spokes count 20/24 ?
Hubs novatec A291SB SL /F482SB SL would that be a good choice ?

I just built a pair of gray archtypes with the new PMP K series hubs. Went 24/28 h. Great quality hubs for the price, I think I paid 260 euros for the pair.
I have just built " my friend put them together" Kinlin xr 200 rims . Super light Dati hubs and sapim super spokes "bonkers light"
Where not the easiest build. Starbike were very cool about me returning wrong sized spokes and sending replacements but we got there in the end. They weigh well under 1200grms " 1180 on the kitchen scales" 20 x24. They are just crossed once on the drive side of the rear wheel and straight everywhere else. If they hold up OK I will give the super spokes a go on my other clinchers that would get the weight of them down to 1130 grms. I weigh around 85k and so far so good.

What would be the ideal spoke count for a rider 70kg on archetype and novatec super light (A291 SL )?
20/24 or 24/28?
